This Friday, April 1st, please join LASANAA, an alternative art space and Sirjana College of Fine Arts for a sneak preview of the collaborative works from their Wearable Art workshop, which took place from March 27 through March 31. Local artists and fashion designers have joined in collaboration for the creation of wearable artistic expressions. With the theme of women’s strength as their inspiration, this workshop coincideswith the recent celebration of International Women’s Day. This is the first part of a dual workshop, with the continuation as part of the Nepal Indigenous International Film Festival, which has the theme of the strength of indigenous women. This film festival and the continuation of this workshop will take place at City Hall in Kathmandu from April 21-25.
